The Bob Dylan Center brings the power of music, storytelling and creative expression into the lives of students and educators across the Tulsa community. Through hands-on programming, awards and free field trips, we connect young people with the same creative spirit that has driven Bob Dylan's work for seven decades.
Education is at the heart of everything the Bob Dylan Center does. Every event we host, every exhibit we open and every membership we sell helps to fund the programs on this page. Our goal is simple: give students and teachers the tools, the inspiration and the space to find their own voice.
We put instruments in students' hands, welcome them in on free field trips and recognize local educators whose dedication and creativity have real impact. Here's how the Bob Dylan Center shows up for the Tulsa community.
The Bob Dylan Center offers free field trips for schools across the Tulsa area. Students explore the center's exhibits, engage with archival materials spanning seven decades of Bob Dylan's career and participate in guided activities designed to spark conversation about creativity, self-expression and the role of music in American culture.
Visits are tailored to your group's age and curriculum goals. We ask for at least two weeks' notice and will schedule a pre-visit meeting to make sure your trip is everything you need it to be.
